On The Hunt: Graduation Dress, Pant Suit, Sock Boots and more

It’s been a very rainy few weeks in Sydney (thinking of everyone effected by the floods in QLD and NSW!) and as such there’s been a lot of staying indoors and cracking on with https://trashtotreasured.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/IMG_1336-1440×1920-1.jpg-y type tasks (aka boring stuff!) so not too much to report.

I have noticed that Instagram is playing funny buggers again and only showing my content to 0.05% of my audience (love this for us haha) so here’s are links to content I think you’ll find useful:

  • Marks & Spencer haul (and links to waterproof trench coats) can be found here
  • A little workwear look I did for Atmos&Here is here (I’m getting so much wear out of the shoes!)
  • And I have a new H&M top picks reel here

Right, now that that’s sorted lets get to your ON THE HUNT requests! I absolutely love doing these. Not only is it a great research for me (…or am I just trying to pass off window shopping as work?!) but I get to share what you are ACTUALLY hunting!

Scroll on to see what I found.

1. Engagement party dress!

Silky white with interesting detail! Wear with hair up and pearl and gold accessories.

2. Comfy pull on jeans!

The Decjuba Riley jeans have been a long time fave! Supportive, pull on style comes in 6 colours and sizes 6-18 (I’me a size 8 in these).

Keep an eye on my Insta in the next few days for styling inspo of the Riley jeans.

3. Pant suit!

What a stunning colour! Love the flared detail on the pants which softens the look and clearly sets it apart from corporate wear.

4. Sock boots!

I love a good sock boot! If you have narrow ankles (like me) sock boots are a good good option for a streamline look.

Therapy Shoes is a good brand for decent quality but affordable footwear.

5. Oversized Blazer!

I love a check blazer! Pair with your wardrobe basics (denim/white tee/sneakers) and you’re nailing that smart casual look.

Target have a few blazer options under the $70 mark. Otherwise, some great oversized options at Glassons and Cotton On in the $80-100 range.

6. Graduation dress!

Love this berry shade! Vibrant but not over the top. Will pair well with maroon (same tones).

The knit fabric and covered shoulders allows you to  pin the hood, too.

Comes in 4 colours!

7. Shirt dress!

Navy is a great option to take you from work to casual. A softer option to black but still pairs well with a range of footwear. White sneaker or tan pumps would be my picks- or even those sock boots I linked above!)

The relaxed cut also makes this perfect for all day wear- oh and 25% off (at time of writing) so comes in under budget at $75!

8. V neck jumper!

For a quality item at an affordable price point you really can’t go past Uniqlo! Long time Treasure Hunters know I live in Uniqlo knits and tights in winter (I have a few of these in both round and v neck!)

9. Pleated skirt!

So this is actually $20 over budget BUT I do think it’s worth it! A lovely, long and versatile option from Forever New.

Also found these knit versions on sale (and under $80)

10. Longer work top!

Love the detail on the white below! I’ve seen it in person and the fabric is great quality and not sheer. Wear open at the neck.

Target also have these options: here and here.

Ok treasure hunters, I’ll leave it there! I hope I’ve give you some workable options, or at least inspired you on places to hunt for future 🙂

Grabbed a treasure? Let me know in the comments!
