I am a bit of a hoarder (aren’t we all?) and during a recent cleaning spree I unearthed a pair of Robert Robert lace booties I had bought over a decade ago. They haven’t been worn in years but I’ve kept them out of sentiment. These treasures were picked up at a sample sale for just $20, paid for with my first ever paycheck from my high school job (thank you Burger King!).

Date night on Saturday was the perfect chance to give them a whirl. I love that the combination of lace and leather items in this outfit allows for an edgy but feminine look. And with lace booties making a come back, I’d say I’m set for the winter.
I guess sometimes hoarding pays off!
