Dopamine Dressing? Weekly Wrap Up 24-28th Jan

Sheike Imogen Stripe Dress

Welcome to another weekly wrap-up, and yes you read that right! This week was all about dopamine dressing.

We all have that one piece of clothing (or a few!) that make you feel happy and confident when you’re in it. This is what dopamine dressing is all about! Dressing to make YOU feel good.

Needless to say, I’m all on board for this and I had a big week of shopping heavily influenced by dopamine dressing.

Sleep shirt, or going out shirt?

To start off, this is probably my favourite find of the week! I picked up the Lemon Frill Nightshirt from Peter Alexander. They had 20% off full-priced items, and the print I couldn’t resist!

Dopamine dressing style one. Tina styles the lemon night shirt like a kimono. The night shirt is worn over a white tank, denim shorts and white sneakers.

When life gives you lemons, am I right?! The lemons make me feel like I’m in Positano (I wish!) and adds a nice pop of colour to my neutral outfit. Paired with a white tank, denim shorts and my signature white sneakers, this outfit was SO comfortable to run errands in.

Another element to dopamine dressing is colour! What colours are you drawn to, what colours make you feel happy? This is the Imogen Stripe Dress from Sheike. A colourful TOAG (Throw on and Go if you’re new here!) that combines retro colours with carefree styling. Love the v-neckline and the tie at the waist that cinches you in. Not to mention, the balloon sleeve which I love in dresses and blouses.

Shut up and take my money!

I told you this was a big week of shopping! You guys are getting an exclusive look into my newest picks from H&M. If there’s something you see that pops out at you that you want to see styled, let me know!

If you’ve been following my Instagram for a while, you would know that these options are typical Tina! This haul is looking a little “autumnal”, but Sydney weather has been super unpredictable. Even though we’re still experiencing some hot, summer days, there’s definitely been some rainy days! Besides, a few new blazers and jackets don’t go astray in my wardrobe, and will be perfect for the upcoming transitional season!

I’m loving the bright red on that Oversized Jacket.

The Sleeveless Cotton Blouse I saw in store on a recent hunt, which you can watch here so I know it’ll be a great fit with what I have in my wardrobe currently.

I’m also always putting new jeans to the test, so I’m excited to test out these Mom Loose-fit Ultra High Jeans!  At only $34.99, I had to pop them in my cart, so I’ll let you know how they go in a future wrap-up!

Treasured by YOU!

To wrap up this wrap-up, I wanted to share some treasures that you’ve found! I always love hearing feedback on what pieces you’ve picked up, and what works and doesn’t work for your everyday life!

First up is the Check Dobby Midi Dress from Target!

It comes in this gorgeous lilac, and white (ps: the white is currently on sale!)

I love that this dress comes with a slip, as the material is a tad see through. But you can wear it without, so you have the option which is considerate. It’s true to size, and approved by mums for postpartum dressing.

If you like cut-outs/backless dresses, the Lily Loves Tie Back Dress is a great option! ps: at the time of writing this piece is also on sale! This dress also comes in black.

Lastly, is this blazer that one treasure hunter already has on rotation in her wardrobe!

Narla Check Blazer by Atmos&Here

This is the Narla Check Blazer by Atmos&Here – there are only limited sizes available, but you can use this as inspiration. A plaid blazer is a timeless piece, and if you miss out on this one, there’s going to be another that suits you.

There you are friends, this concludes another Weekly Wrap-Up! It looks like I’m going to have to get to my nearest Target, I’ve received so many messages with great finds!

I hope you liked my take on dopamine dressing, and I hope this inspires you to take a look in your wardrobe and find those pieces that make you feel amazing!

Happy hunting!

T xoxo
