Affordable Belts For Dresses and Pants

Last week on Instastories I went on a little hunt to stock up on wardrobe basics and it got me thinking about the humble belt.

Functional but also the perfect little accessory to bring versatility to your wardrobe.

With the flowy silhouettes of this season, I’ve been reaching for a belt more often. It’s the quickest way to take a dress from weekend casual to a bit more polished or add a bit of sparkle and interest to block coloured items.

Scroll on for some affordable picks! Some are tried and test and have lasted me for years.

1. SPORTSGIRL LENNY NARROW BELT

Belts in tan and black are an easy ‘go with everything’ choice but lately, I’ve been favouring beige. This Sportsgirl belt has popped up a few times on the feed and I find it perfect for when I don’t want the contrast of tan or black.

Genuine leather option available at Forcast (click here).

2. FORCAST TESSA BELT

Add a bit of bling with the Tessa Belt. Comes in 2 shades and is elasticised for comfy wear.

Tip: Size down in belts to wear highwaisted

3. SPORTSGIRL WOVEN O RING

Perfect to add interest via texture and buckle rather than bling. The free size makes it easy to wear high or low.

4. H&M BLACK LEATHER BELT

Wouldnt be a round-up without a black belt. I have a couple of H&M ones (round buckle) which look great ith work pants and denim. This one comes in 3 colourways and silver buckle.

Witchery also has this reversible option. Matte black to polished croc.

5. H&M NARROW DOUBLE RING BELT

First came Gucci, then came the million iterations of their Double G belt! The double ring looks set to stay for awhile yet!

Happy Hunting!
